Project Mr. Henry’s

Just off the historic downtown square in Burleson, Mr. Henry’s began as an old house. It was turned into a retro-inspired shop for all-natural ice cream from New Zealand. The design draws on vintage ice cream parlors, pairing playful pastels, glossy tile and nostalgic details with a fresh, contemporary approach.

Mint green cabinetry and glossy blush tile nod to traditional ice cream parlors, while brass hardware and clean-lined finishes give the space a contemporary edge. The palette feels nostalgic without becoming overly themed.

A graphic checkerboard floor and muted green wall tile carry the shop’s retro influences into the restroom, with brass accents and simple, modern fixtures as a counterpoint.
